In the modern era and with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world seemed to be locked in their homes. Online learning became the platform to tackle the crisis that occurred due to lockdown during the pandemic. Online learning during this hard time had emerged as the most effective option for students/teachers as well as college/university management. During the lockdown period, JSSATE, Noida offered COURSERA courses for free to all the faculty and students. This helped them in upliftment of their skillset during the pandemic and helped them to get certified with various Coursera Program on the latest technological areas. Coursera is an American Massive Open Online Course provider founded in 2012 by two Stanford University computer science professors. The e-learning platform offers about 3,000 online courses in partnership with the world's leading universities and companies. It includes professional certificate programs and bachelor's and master's degree programs. Currently Coursera has 82 million learners, 100+ Fortune 500 companies, and more than 6,000 campuses, businesses, and governments come to Coursera to access world-class learning—anytime, anywhere. Coursera courses last approximately four to twelve weeks, with one to two hours of video lectures a week. These courses provide quizzes, weekly exercises, peer-graded and reviewed assignments, an optional Honors assignment and sometimes a final project or exam to complete the course. Courses are also provided on-demand, in which case users can take their time in completing the course with all of the material available at once.
